YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy notice

Last reviewed 13 August 2026

Who is responsible for your information?

Miramor Salon, 4 Kilbridge Close, New Marske, Redcar TS11 8DT, is responsible for the personal information used to provide salon services. For privacy questions or requests, call or WhatsApp 07563 800140.

What we collect

When you make or discuss an appointment, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, selected treatment, appointment date and time, booking notes, payment status and booking history. Please only include information in the notes that the salon needs to prepare for your appointment.

Why we use it

We use this information to arrange and provide your appointment, take and reconcile payments, prevent double bookings, contact you about changes, keep appropriate business records, handle questions or complaints and protect the salon and its customers from misuse. We use it where necessary to perform our agreement with you, meet legal obligations and operate the salon responsibly.

Payments and service providers

Online payments are processed securely by Stripe. Miramor Salon does not receive or store your complete card number. We may also use trusted providers to host the website, maintain the booking diary, deliver transactional messages and display appointments in the owner’s calendar. They receive only the information needed to perform those services.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to manage appointments, answer queries and meet legal, accounting or insurance requirements. The salon reviews records periodically and deletes or anonymises information when it is no longer required.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for access to your personal information or request that inaccurate information is corrected. Depending on the circumstances, you may also ask for deletion, restriction, transfer or object to certain uses. You can contact the salon first with any concern and you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and external services

The site may use strictly necessary technology to keep booking and owner functions secure. Embedded services such as Instagram, Google Maps and Stripe may receive technical information when you use their content and apply their own privacy terms. If optional analytics or advertising cookies are added in future, the site will ask for any consent required first.

YOUR APPOINTMENT

Booking policy

Making a booking

Online appointments are available Tuesday to Saturday, with start times between 9:30am and 4:00pm. Only times that can accommodate the full selected treatment are displayed. Telephone and social-media enquiries are also welcome.

Confirmation and payment

A paid treatment is secured after successful payment of either the 20% security deposit or the full appointment price. If you pay the deposit, the remaining balance is due at the salon. Complimentary consultations do not require payment. A selected time is not confirmed until the website displays a booking confirmation.

Prices and consultations

Prices shown are the standard salon prices. If your hair requires additional time, product or a different service, Bruni will explain this and agree the price with you before proceeding. Extension prices cover fitting only unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Colour, chemical and extension services

A consultation or allergy alert test may be required before certain treatments. The salon will explain what is needed. If a required consultation or test has not been completed in time, the treatment may need to be changed or rescheduled so it can be carried out safely.

Arrival and lateness

Please arrive at the agreed time. If you expect to be late, contact the salon as soon as possible. A late arrival may mean the service needs to be shortened or moved to protect the next client’s appointment, and the cancellation policy may apply if the treatment can no longer be completed.

Booking details

Please check the treatment, date, time, contact details and any extras before paying. Contact the salon promptly if something is incorrect. Appointment messages will be sent using the contact details supplied when booking.

CHANGES & REFUNDS

Cancellation policy

Changing an appointment

Please give as much notice as possible by calling or WhatsApping 07563 800140. With at least 48 hours’ notice, the 20% security deposit can normally be transferred once to a new appointment agreed with the salon.

Late cancellation or non-attendance

If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or do not attend, the security deposit will normally be retained because the appointment time was reserved for you. A new deposit may be required to book again. Any amount paid above the deposit will normally be returned to the original payment method.

If the salon must cancel

If Miramor Salon cannot provide the appointment, you can choose to move the full amount paid to another suitable date or receive a full refund to the original payment method.

Exceptional circumstances

The salon understands that genuine emergencies happen. Please make contact as soon as possible so the circumstances can be considered fairly.

Your statutory rights

Deposits and cancellation terms will always be applied fairly, proportionately and in accordance with UK consumer law. Nothing in this policy removes any statutory cancellation, refund or service rights that apply to your booking.
